Since our inception in 1988, our modus operandi has been to strive for
perfect customer relations, nonpareil rug designs, and a super-selection of
area rugs. Located in New York, we have become the premiere rug center of
Long Island for individual homeowners and particularly for interior
designers. We provide authentic Persian, Tabriz, Sarouk, French Aubusson,
Silk, Kilim, Peshawar, Antique, and Modern rugs, among many more.
Our president, Mr. John Khalil, learned the art of rugs from his father in
their native Iran, before he moved to the USA to attend Tulsa University.
He graduated with a Bachelors of Science, and proceeded to Wyoming
University where he earned a Master's Degree in petroleum engineering.
After spending years diligently working for Petroleum Information, an
international petroleum research company, Mr. Khalil moved to New York and
established his first rug design center.
Mr. Khalil is now honored to be president of the largest rug center on Long
Island. As he shares his knowledge of rugs with his children, he is
privileged to likewise share it with students at Long Island University
through his course "Oriental Rugs 101". To complement his teaching, he has
also written a book about oriental rugs entitled On Oriental Rugs that will
be available soon in paperback.

From New York, Upstate New York, or Long Island: Take the Long
Island Expressway (LIE) to Exit 49 North (Huntington/Route 110). Follow
Route 110 North to the village of Huntington, continue straight pass Main
Street (25A) for two blocks, and then you will see 234 New York Ave.
From New York City: Take the Manhattan Midtown Tunnel, as soon as you pass
the toll, you are on Long Island Expressway. Take the Long Island
Expressway (LIE) to Exit 49 North (Huntington/Route 110). Follow Route 110
North to the village of Huntington, continue straight pass Main Street
(25A) for two blocks, and then you will see 234 New York Ave.
Charity
The John Khalil Collection is devoted to charity. We aim to annually
donate 5% (at least) of our profits to charitable organizations.
Since it our customers who help us give, we have developed a special
