This is truly a collector piece of museum quality. It was a “Special Order” from the Shah of Iran to a general in the Turkish Army as thanks for their cooperation with the Iranian Army. It was signed as a token of his thanks, which states, “A special order to Sarafian Iran Isfahan” (Sarafian is equivalent to the Tiffany of rugs) Made by “Sarafian,” All over pattern.
